Student Activities Council

Student Activities Council (SAC)  is the heart of our school spirit! Students interested in running for Student Activiites Council President run a campaign to be elected.  All students in the school vote for their next year's president.  

There is an application process for all other council positions which are available to students from all grades. The staff advisors and the elected president select the new council body from the applicants. 

Student Activities Council represents the interests of the student body. They assist with organizing our school's spirit week activities, school dances, intramural sports and fundraising.  Members also coordinate orders for Madawaska Valley District HIgh School spirit wear.

Student Activities Council also works with the community in events such as Relay for Life and have organized special presentations, such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).  The Council is an acitive fundraiser for instituions such as St. Francis Memorial Hospital and the Food Bank.
